Kukkiwon / World Taekwondo

Kukkiwon, also known as the World Taekwondo Headquarters, is the main governing and certification body for Taekwondo. It was established in 1972 in Seoul, South Korea, and is recognized as the official authority for standardizing and promoting Taekwondo worldwide. Kukkiwon plays a central role in the development and expansion of Taekwondo as a modern martial art.  Kim’s Academy and all affiliated branch schools follow the World Taekwondo system and have GrandMaster Kim’s approval to operate under its guidance.
